Before founding her own consultancy in 2003, Gina garnered over twelve
years of consulting experience. She excelled as a Manager with
Andersen Consulting/Accenture in the era of the "Big 5" when Andersen
was the global leading business and technology consulting firm.
Her clients ranged from blue chip Fortune 100 companies to dot-com
start-ups. For six years, Gina served in their Organization and
Human Performance Practice which is credited with coining the phrase
"change management." In addition to mastering change management
practices, she developed expertise in project management,
implementation planning, process re-design, training and communication
strategies, and she discovered her passion for innovative design and
facilitation of strategic meetings. While at Andersen her
exceptional team performance earned the firm's coveted Annual Quality
Award and the recommendation for an early promotion so unusual it
required the approval of global level management.
Most recently, Gina honed her skills in strategic planning and
competitive market assessment as Vice President, Consulting, with
McMorrowSavarese, which serves managing partners of the "AmLaw 100"
(the legal industry's equivalent to Fortune 100). She was
responsible for developing new consulting services and advising law
firms on their growth strategies. In addition, Gina co-wrote and
edited five articles on law firm management published by Los Angeles'
"Daily Journal".
Proud to be involved with dozens of nonprofits
over the years, Gina served a term as Vice President of the Board of
Directors of Global Partners for Development, an organization dedicated
to creating self-sufficiency by pairing grassroots community developers
with essential resources. She instituted new methods for the
nonprofit's annual strategic and operational planning and traveled to
East Africa to evaluate community development partnerships.
Gina graduated Magna Cum Laude from Occidental
College where she received her B.A. with departmental honors in
psychology and minored in religious studies. She was voted Female
Student of the Year by the faculty and administration for academic and
extra-curricular excellence, and later inducted into the exclusive Phi
Beta Kappa Society. After five years working in higher education
and financial services, Gina was chosen among national candidates to
participate in "Princeton's Review's" top public affairs training, the
Coro Public Affairs Fellowship. This intensive, nine-month,
experiential, graduate-level leadership program fueled her passion for
working across sectors. She also holds an MBA with a
concentration in strategic management from the prestigious Peter F.
Drucker Graduate Management School at Claremont Graduate
University. Gina was selected to participate in their first
honors practicum for management consulting; she led five graduate
students in working directly with the CEO and CFO of a $1 billion
regional corporation. Upon graduation, the faculty honored her as
Outstanding Student of the Year, an award presented by the "Father of
Management" himself, Peter Drucker.
